Natural Face Masks
How relaxing it is to apply a face mask and then closing your eyes for sometime! After you wash your face, you get a visible glow and radiance on your skin. Instead of spending oodles on chemical cosmetics, you can spend some time to prepare a homemade facial mask for yourself. They are composed of all natural products like fruits, vegetables, grains, etc that render complete skin care, without causing any damage to your skin. Oily Skin
Lemon and Flour Pack
You need to mix equal amounts of natural yogurt and flour. Make a smooth paste and then add 1 tsp lemon juice. Apply this mask all over your face and neck. Let it dry for 15 minutes and then rinse with cold water.
Apple and Honey Pack
Grate one apple and make a paste of it in mixer. Add 1 tsp honey and blend well. This face mask is extremely useful for oily skin, as it adds a natural glow to face.
Clay and Banana Pack
In this pack, you need 2 tsps of either green clay, white clay or mineral clay. Smash a ripe banana. Mix honey, banana paste and clay with rose water. Blend well and adjust the thickness with rosewater. Apply the smooth paste circular motion all over your face and neck. Leave for 15-20 minutes and rinse with cold water.
Dry Skin
Dry skin is prone to dehydration and roughness due to lack of natural moisture. Constant moisturizing is required for dry skin, to keep it soft and supple. Extreme dryness can also crack skin. Honey and Avocado Pack
In this face mask, you need to blend 3 tsps of honey with 3 tsps of avocado flesh. Mix one egg white in to the paste. Blend the contents and cover your face and neck with this mask. Once it has dried, rinse with cold water and then splash cold milk all over your face.
Mint and Yogurt Pack
Mix 1 tsp of yogurt with 1 tsp mint powder. Add few drops of chamomile oil or rosemary oil in the mixture. Make a smooth paste of it and apply all over your face and neck. Before rinsing, massage you face with few drops of vitamin E oil and wash with lukewarm water.
Almond and Avocado Pack
Paste 4 almonds with avocado flesh or skin. Make a smooth paste and add few drops of coconut oil. Massage you face with this pack, gently, for sometime and then apply the mask. Let it dry for some time and rinse with lukewarm water.
Sensitive Skin
You should be very careful before selecting ingredients for sensitive skin. Your skin might be allergic towards certain organic products as well. Sensitive skin is prone to acne, pimples, rashes, itching, etc. Here are a few natural face masks for acne and pimples, with a combination of ingredients that won't harm your skin.
Cucumber and Egg White Pack
Mix 3 tsps cucumber juice with 1 egg white. Apply this all over your face and let it dry. Rinse off with lukewarm water. Cucumber is excellent for soothing a sensitive skin.
Sandalwood and Rose Water Pack
Take 2 tsps of pure sandalwood powder and mix it with rose water. Add few drops of rose oil to the mixture for moisturizing your skin. You can also crush rose petals and mix in the paste. Apply all over your face for 20 minutes and then rinse with icy cool water.
Turmeric and Jojoba Pack
Turmeric paste is antiseptic and has been used since ages as natural remedy for sensitive skin problems. You can add jojoba oil or olive oil in the paste and apply all over your face as a mask. Let it dry for few minutes and rinse off with cold water.
You should not get perplexed by the variety of face packs available in the market. Select any of these natural face masks and apply regularly on your skin and feel the difference within few days. A daily natural skin care regimen is the best way to pamper your skin.
