There is a concept coming up in the style-conscious community and that is flaunting white ink tattoo designs.
Wearing White Ink Tattoos
As the name suggests, white ink tattoos are those which are made in white color. These kinds of tattoos are the best choices for people who want to set a unique example among other tattoo wearers. Since these are designs are white in color, a white ink tattoo on dark skin would normally look attractive. This does not mean that people with white skin can not sport these tattoos. Some believe that these look more beautiful only on fair skin types. It is only that the tattoos would not be much evident from a distance. So, if you are wanting to get such a tattoo done, white ink tattoo artists would mainly concentrate on the natural coloration of your skin to make sure that the design looks attractive. These white tattoos also come with a thick ink, as a result the design may look raised on the skin.
White Ink Tattoo Designs
You can choose any possible kind of tattoo designs on white ink. If you want to go in for glowing tattoos, black-light white tattoo ink is to be used. These type of white tattoos glow when exposed to UV black-light. Calligraphy designs are most popular when it comes to sporting white tattoos. You can simply choose a word most important to you and get a white ink tattoo done. This can be any word such as 'Loved', 'Breathe' as in the Lindsay Lohan tattoo, 'Never Give Up', 'Born To Rule' and many other popular phrases and words.
Your favorite symbols or initials can even be used for simple designs. Girls can wear a wide range of these body arts such as heart tattoos, butterfly tattoos, and flower tattoos, etc. You can even go in for Celtic designs and tribal patterns made with white ink. Star tattoos are also most commonly used by women to portray the delicacy of their femininity. Bird tattoo and angel tattoo designs would also seem appropriate on white ink. Supernatural images like angel and fairy tattoos would be good alternatives as well.
As white ink is not apparent easily, such supernatural designs may create curiosity and an interesting appearance. You can simply wear any kind of design that you like using white ink. To make sure the design suits you very well, it is recommended to consult with an experienced tattoo artist who will let you know about which designs will look good on you and where. Choose any design, but just make sure it does not resemble a scar, as a majority of white ink tattoos tend to.
Since white ink may blend easily with other colored inks, it is suggested not to make these tattoos very close to colored ones. Remember that white ink tattoo designs are likely to fade out after a considerable exposure to sunlight. Due to this, you may need multiple applications at certain periodic intervals. Also note that white ink tattoo removal is far more difficult than traditional black and blue tattoos.
