Facial Cleansers for Oily Skin
Our facial skin plays an important role in the overall appearance. Maintaining its beauty and health is one of the primary tasks for us. You would have always heard that cleansing, toning and moisturizing together make a perfect beauty routine. But obtaining the benefits from this routine depends highly upon the products used and your skin type. If you are one of those people having an oily skin, you might really get annoyed at times. The greasy, shiny and dull face might make you feel irritated each time you look at yourself in the mirror. If you want to get rid of this problem, it is essential to keep your skin clean. Using a good cleanser regularly is what will help you get rid of the oily skin. You might be opting for expensive cleansers available in the market promising an oil free skin. Instead, why not use homemade facial cleansers for oily skin? Yes, these are equally effective and won't contain any harsh chemicals.
Natural Cleansers
Milk
Milk is an easy to use and effective facial cleanser for oily face. You can just apply milk over your face with a cotton ball dipped in it. It is best to use raw milk. Let it dry before you wash it off with lukewarm water. You can also make cubes of milk and rub them over your facial skin to get a fresh look. Pour milk in an ice tray and let it freeze to form milk cubes. You can also make a paste using milk and orange peel and apply it over your face. Rub it in circular directions for a few minutes and then wash off.
Lemon
Squeeze half lemon and use this fresh lemon juice as one of the best natural cleansers. The citric acid in lemon helps in cleansing the oil and dirt in the skin pores and gives a bright look to your skin. It is also a natural bleaching agent. You can also mix equal amount of lemon juice and hot water.
Honey
Make a paste of 2 tsp. honey, 2 tsp. almond powder, and tsp. lemon juice. Apply on your face and rub in circular directions for 2 minutes. Now, wash off with lukewarm water to have a clean, oil-free and dirt-free face. You can also make a paste of 1 tsp. honey, 1 tsp. egg white, and tsp. lemon juice and apply it over your facial skin. Wash off after 10 minutes to have a fresh look.
Yogurt
Yogurt is an effective ingredient for cleansing oily face. Apply it on your face and wash off after 10 minutes. You can also make a paste of yogurt and mashed strawberries and apply it over your facial skin. Wash it off with lukewarm water after 10 minutes to have a perfectly cleansed skin.
Fuller's Earth
Fuller's earth is very beneficial for your skin, especially for cleansing the oily skin. You can make a paste using fuller's earth and rose water and apply it over your face to rightly cleanse your skin. Wash off with cold water. You can also add a small mashed tomato to fuller's earth. Mix well and apply on your face. Wash off with cold water once it dries off. Regular use of fuller's earth will help improve your skin texture.
Using one of the aforementioned cleansers daily, twice is essential to get the desired results. A clean skin is the most important way to reduce the 'oily' factor. Moreover, a clean skin will ensure that the skin pores are not clogged which might result into acne. Finish by applying a toner and a good moisturizer for oily skin. So take care by using a natural facial cleanser everyday and say goodbye to the greasy look!
