The next step is the application of the prepared bleach on the hair strands that are covered with cling wrap. It takes around 30 to 50 minutes to achieve the desired color. So, the hair color is checked every now and then. Once the hair get the desired color, rinsing, shampooing and conditioning is done, with the frosting cap on. After applying the conditioner, the cap is removed and the hair is rinsed again. This is the process of frosting, but, it is always advisable to get the frosting done from a salon for best results.
