How to Make a Facial Mask at Home
You need not go to the beauty salon so as to get a facial done. You can get one right at home and that too with completely natural ingredients and herbs. Home remedies for face packs offer you the freedom from the harmful side effects of chemicals used in cosmetic face packs and creams. Your skin is already made to undergo treatments through harsh soaps and scrubs.
Homemade Facial Mask
Papaya and Milk Mask
Grind fresh peeled papaya and milk to make a thick paste, you may add yogurt instead as well. Now add a teaspoon of honey and few drops of lemon juice to the concoction. Apply on the face and let it remain for 30 minutes and not more. This pack helps fight sun burn and makes the skin lighter by lightening the pigmentation and pimple scars.
Tomato and Yogurt
Take half a piece of tomato. Make a pulp and mix a tablespoon of yogurt, so as to make a thick paste. Now apply and let it be on the face. This pack is excellent for reducing wrinkles and it helps make the skin firmer. This pack is suitable for oily skin.
Cucumber and Oatmeal
This face mask can also be used as a scrub. You will have to grind half a cucumber so as to make a thick paste. Mix a tablespoon of yogurt with the cucumber and then add 2 tablespoons of oatmeal. Mix the concoction properly and then apply on the face. Let it stay for 30 minutes, and then wet your fingers and gently remove the pack in circular motion. This will help remove all the dead skin and blackheads.
Banana and Honey
Mash the banana, so as to make a thick paste. Once the paste is set, mix a teaspoon of honey to it. This face pack is good for wrinkles and dry skin types.
Orange Peel
Take fresh orange peels and grind them so as to make a thick paste. Now add yogurt to the concoction. This face pack is believed to help remove sunburns and make the skin look younger.
Gypsum Clay Mask
You will have to search for this miracle clay. Though if you find it, all you need to do is to mix it with water and apply on your face. Leave it for about 30 minutes and then rinse with cold water.
Egg and Yogurt
Mix two egg whites with a tablespoon of yogurt. Apply on the face and neck. Let it remain for about 30 -45 minutes, after which you can wash it off with cold water.
Glycerin and Lemon
This face pack is excellent for reducing sunburns over time. It needs to be applies every day on the face or on the areas which have become tanned or too darkened. Mix a tablespoon of glycerin with a teaspoon of fresh lemon juice. This pack will tingle your skin a bit. Apply on the skin and let it remain for 15 minutes.
Pumpkin Face Pack
Make some pumpkin mash using a grinder. Now mix 2 eggs into the grinder as well. Add 2 tablespoons of yogurt. Your face pack is ready. This face pack helps rejuvenate the skin pores, it helps reduce acne and it excellent for making the skin smoother.
Sugar Solution
You will need to warm up half a cup of water and then dissolve 2 tablespoons of sugar into it. This face pack is excellent for wrinkles and aging skin types.
So these were some simple and easy to make natural homemade face masks. Do not keep the mask on for too long as that would make the face either too dry or too oily.
