The tattoo you wear on your body portrays your character as well as your mental state. Conventional clown tattoos are symbolic of a humorous and jovial personality. Quite contrary to this, evils clowns are wicked and have negative bent of mind. The most appropriate example of evil clown is the character played so succinctly by Heath Ledger in the movie, 'The Dark Knight'. He had the face of a joker, the protagonist in the lead role of a psychotic killer. You must watch the movie to understand the psychology of an evil clown deeply.
Tattoo Meaning
Although such tattoos are synonymous to the darker side of human nature, it has different perspectives behind. The tattooed clowns have scary faces and killer instincts in them. Another aspect associated with clown tattoos is, coulrophobia, i.e. fear of clowns. People wear them also for the purpose of overcoming their phobia towards clowns. The very feeling of getting horrified by the sight of clowns is apparently subdued after wearing the tattoo. It's a way of standing against fear by making the object of fear as the weapon.
People associated with acts of treachery, murder, crime and other types of inhuman activities are also seen wearing clown tattoos with a wicked look on their face. On the other hand, the sad hobo, although not completely evil by nature, is depiction of gloom and sadness. Suppressed desires of committing crime and evil deeds is another instinct conveyed by these tattoos. They are engraved on arms, back, shoulders, and chest. Catch a glimpse of such type of tattoos from the images embedded below.
Design Types
Gangster Clown: They are usually inked on the arm and the clown carries a weapon (gun) in his hand. It has a terribly violent and scary face, symbolic of death and destruction.
Death Head Clown: The death head clown is one of the most morbid of all vicious clown designs. It's normally depicted with a head strangulated with ropes or flakes of fire emanating from above the head.
Bleeding Clown: As the name suggests, a bleeding clown has its eye pierced with blood oozing out or flowing out from the mouth. It reflects murder, killing and treachery.
Mean Clown: The mean clown has strange expression of anger and peevishness on its face. The clown with crooked red nose reflects its irritation and hatred for people around him.
Sad Hobo: Sad hobo is symbolic of suppressed misery, sadness and unhappiness.
Always delve deep into the meaning of the tattoo before engraving it on your body. If you wear inappropriate tattoos, you will be judged wrongly. To sum up, I must mention that tattoos depicting as evil clown are not worn merely for the sake of flaunting, rather the wearer is well aware of his evil deeds and adorns it to enlighten people around him about his wrongdoings. Think and research well before getting inked.
